Avoid the crowds on larger dive boats, dive and snorkel in small groups. This company located really close to KoHUB on Long Beach has speed boats to get you out to the dive sites quick smart. Departing from Long Beach each morning at 9am, Dive and Relax carries a maximum of 10 diving guests on their luxury speed boats, with typically just 2 or 3 divers (max 4) with each Dive Master.
If you’re after a relaxing day on the water, on a lovely big cruiser, buffet lunch and sun-baking on the deck, along with your dive, then get going with Kon-Tiki Lanta. They are also a 5-star PADI IDC Centre, a certification which guarantees the highest standards of safety, quality and variety. They offer programs ranging from single day Discover SCUBA experiences all the way up to dive instructor courses and technical education.
What better way to get fit fit fit then to throw yourself into some Muay Thai training. There’s a fantastic facility just up the road from KoHUB, which is owned and managed by William (Decha Rodraksa) a former world champion Muay Thai boxer. Men, women and children can train in a safe and relaxing environment under the guidance of their fully qualified instructors. They do single sessions or you can sign up to a program. They can even get you fight-ready!
Of course your own practice on the beach or garden outside your bungalow is a great option, but if you want to join a class Oasis Yoga is the only dedicated yoga centre on the island. Koh Lanta also sees other yoga instructors set up classes on decks, beaches and parks, so keep an eye out for them too!

Lanta Animal Welfare is an animal rescue, care and re-homing facility on Koh Lanta, run by dedicated full time and casual volunteers. LAW’s objective is to relieve the suffering and pain of the animals on the island through sterilisation and care. To date, they have sterilised and treated over 8,000 animals. Call in for a visit, buy some of their merchandise, make a donation, pat a puppy or even volunteer to walk a dog!
